What are we doing today?

Our mom caught us sewing and took this picture a few minutes ago. Here's an apron I (Veronica) finished for a customer this morning. The cupcake fabric is so cute and popular, I think I'll make more to sell

New fabrics for dresses

We took an all day shopping trip to Portland yesterday - Mill Ends and Fabric Depot. We got these delicious fabrics that we will be making more dresses with. A few Christmas fabrics and a lot of things that we just liked.Isn't this one cute? We just might have to make a pillow with it so we don't cut it up too much.
We had a wonderful time. Went down with mom and some friends and had lunch with some other friends that live in Portland. We might do this more often. Try other stores.

More Glorious Girl Jewelry

Here is some more jewelry from Glorious Girl Jewelry. I really like these acorn earrings. I can't get the picture to turn the right direction, so please bear with it.
And Paris - the Eiffel Tower. Someday I'll go there.

More of our Fall collection

We were working longer hours this weekend getting the last of our Halloween Little Bo Peeps out and then making more of our fall collection. These will be going into our Etsy shop. The fabrics were so cute we couldn't pass them up.This sunflower fabric we've had for a while. It's been so popular. So we just designed a new jumper for it.

Glorious Girl Jewelry

We want to start featuring sellers in our boutique. Most of these sellers do have etsy shops or web addresses so you can shop online. This is a necklace and bracelet from Glorious Girl Jewelry. You can check her out at her etsy shop. Just click on her name. This one is the Tree of Life.
I'll post a couple of special ones that I really like tomorrow.

Peasant Top?

Here's that cute little top all finished. It's a variation of our new fall dress style. This top was specially made for a customer. Shortened versions might be a good idea. They'll go with jeans very well.Another special order - apron.

Notice the scalloped edge.
Tomorrow we go to the pumpkin farm. Mom will watch the store for us.

Statue of Liberty

This customer is coming today to pick up her Statue of Liberty costume. I hope she sends us a picture of her with it all put together.I'm holding up a little top I'm working on. It'll look much cuter when it's done.
Veronica is still working on Little Bo Peeps.

16 Little Bo Peep

I think this is No. 13 of 16. As you see it needs the finishing touches, such as hemming done to it. You can see the original on our Etsy site. It has been fun doing these dresses, but since Halloween is almost here, I think we're about done. Here I (Victoria) am working on an apron for the dresses. I'm thankful for my nice Bernina.
My sister is babysitting today. If you have any good crafts to do with the children we watch, let us know.

Fall is upon us, Winter is coming

Veronica is working on a custom order.
Here it is all finished. Isn't that cute? One of our fall collection custom sized for this little girl.

We're just starting on our winter collection (or Christmas if you like). We'd like Christmas to last all winter. Cold weather means lots of indoor cheerfulness. We'll have lots of taffeta and velvety fabrics.

We finished our shop!

Last week we had a grand opening for our new shop! It is so nice to have a work room that is large and easy to store our fabrics, patterns and everything else.
